Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and National Informatics Centre (NIC) conducted the second National conference on Immigration, Visa and Foreigners’ Registration and Tracking (IVFRT) in New Delhi on 10th January. Over two hundred participants from Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs)/ Foreigners Registration Offices (FROs), Immigration Check Post and NIC officers participated in the conference. Senior officers from MHA, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Bureau of Immigration also participated. Three technical sessions were conducted to brief the officers about various modules of the IVFRT like integrated Online Visa issuance system, C-FRO system, Advanced Passenger Information System, Immigration Control System etc.
