Rakesh Misra takes over as Director General, CPWD
Rakesh Misra has assumed the office of the Director General, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Ministry of Urban Development. Sh. Misra, is a 1974 batch officer belonging to Central Engineering Service (Civil). He attained his BE (Civil) Hons. Degree from University of Roorkee (Now IIT Roorkee). He has a vast professional experience of over 36 years in different capacities in CPWD from Assistant Executive Engineer to Special Director General. He has also been the Engineer-in-Chief, PWD, in Delhi Government. During that period, Common Wealth Games related projects in Delhi were executed successfully.
